OC Shrinks was founded in 2013 by therapist Shelby Castile, LMFT, with one goal in mind— make connection easier in the mental health community. What began as a small network of dedicated clinicians has grown into a female-founded, female-led community of more than 10,000 mental health professionals and partners across California and throughout the United States.
Shelby recognized a gap in the field— talented clinicians working independently, clients struggling to find the right fit, and community partners needing stronger collaboration. OC Shrinks was created to close that gap.
Today, the organization stands as one of the most trusted platforms for referrals, professional connection, and resource-sharing—serving clinicians and partners across California and throughout the United States. It continues to expand with purpose, integrity, and impact.
